Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to own the sales process from first demo through close. This role is responsible for running high-quality demos, managing structured follow-ups, and guiding prospects to a clear decision.
Your work directly drives new revenue, improves close rates, and ensures Plan-It’s sales process remains organized, predictable, and professional.
Responsibilities
• Conduct high-quality product demos and guide prospects through the evaluation process
• Own the sales cycle from demo to close, including follow-ups and next steps
• Manage a structured and predictable sales pipeline with accurate tracking and forecasting
• Move prospects toward a clear yes or no through thoughtful, timely follow-up
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals by closing new deals
• Build strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the buying process
• Clearly communicate Plan-It’s value to non-technical, public-sector decision makers
• Collaborate with onboarding and support to ensure smooth handoffs after close
• Capture and relay product feedback, objections, and feature requests to internal teams
• Maintain clean, up-to-date records in CRM tool (Attio)
Who You Are
• Experience in customer support, customer success, or product implementation roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain product concepts clearly to non-technical users
• High ownership mentality with a strong bias toward follow-through and problem resolution
• Organized, reliable, and proactive in managing customer requests end to end
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently before escalating
• Familiarity with SaaS products, CRMs, and customer support tools
• Empathy for customers and comfort working directly with public-sector or government-adjacent organizations
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where processes are built and improved over time
