This role is focused on closing new deals and driving revenue growth. You’ll own the sales process from initial outreach to contract signature, working directly with city officials, public works leaders, and finance teams to demonstrate how PlanIt can revolutionize their capital planning.

Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to closing new business.
• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to engage municipalities and government agencies.
• Conduct discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups to showcase the value of PlanIt.
• Work closely with marketing and SDRs to convert inbound leads and outbound prospects.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring a smooth close.
• Exceed revenue targets by consistently closing new deals.
• Keep detailed records in CRM (Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and maintain accurate forecasting.

Who You Are
• Proven closer with 2-5 years of SaaS sales experience, preferably selling to the public sector.
• Track record of exceeding quota and closing high-value deals.
• Strong communicator who can clearly articulate a product’s value to decision-makers.
• Comfortable with solution-based selling and navigating complex sales cycles.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with public sector sales, GovTech, or municipal software is a plus.
